Post goodies and resources, mainly.
Otherwise, just discuss and ask about shit, I guess.

Some of the following people are typeface designers, but most of them are designers that did/do interesting things with type. A few of these artists used a lot of hand rendered type, but most used foundry type in innovative ways.
El Lissitzky
F.T. Marinetti
Herbert Bayer
Jan Tschichold
Paul Renner
Alvin Lustig
Alan Hori
Barbara Kruger
Josef Müller-Brockmann
Franco Grignani
Ed Fella
Massimo Vignelli
David Carson
Wolfgang Weingart
April Greiman
Katherine McCoy
William Longhauser
Saul Bass
Alexi Brodovitch
Piet Zwart
Kurt Schwitters
Theo van Doesburg
Jessica Hische
Tobias Frere-Jones
Jonathan Hoefler
Eric Olson (Process Type Foundry)
Martin Majoor
Eric Gill
Adrian Frutiger
Robert Slimbach
Zuznna Licko
Rudy VanderLans
I'll stop now.

Books:
Thinking With Type - Ellen Lupton
The New Typography - Jan Tschichold
Grid Systems - Josef Muller-Brockmann
The Elements Of Typographic Style - Robert Bringhurst
Getting It Right With Type - Victoria Squire
Ellen Lupton is a great author and she's written a TON of books. A lot of her stuff is pretty fundamental/rudimentary, but she has a great way of explaining more complex things in a way which is easy to understand and apply.

I STILLLL want to know.
Anyone know where to find

Similar fonts to Mike Giant's.
Reallly wanting something like either.
I've seen a similar font used on a Bracewar shirt.
So I KNOW the fonts out there somewhere

Dafont is cool for novelty stuff.
I've been looking for more professional-looking stuff lately, though, so I haven't really bothered with it.
