I just want to say that skating to your iPod while you have a wizard rap playlist is awesome. All about Dark Funeral, Mayhem, Bathory, and Venom. Don't know too many wizard rap bands yet.

Have you heard the new Glorior Belli tracks? Goddamn......I was so bummed out. I LOVED what that band had going. New stuff, to me at least, is fucking awful, regardless of it being BM or not.

Yes, so disappointing. Meet Us At the Southern Sign was a good album though, first time I'd heard blues and wizard rap combined. And I agree about it being a completely different band now.

I think it's good but relatively mediocre considering both bands' other material. Galgenfrist by Nortt and Subliminal Genocide by Xasthur are both phenomenal.

Just to join the black/death discussion: I remember hearing an awesome band possibly called Valkyrie or something like that. They were incredible.

The new Glorior Belli is really strange. I don't think it's awful, but I probably won't be listening to it much. Manifesting the Raging Beast is a fucking excellent album.

It's weird. For a long time, I didn't have a taste for any "classic" BM bands. I liked them when I was 14 or so, and then gradually stopped listening to them. I love the classics now, though. De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas and Transilvanian Hunger still hold up very well.
