I've been re-watching every season. About to finish up Season 2! I have a feeling the numbers are going to come back in Season 6 in a big way.

I really need to go through all the seasons over the next few weeks. Im on vacation starting the 23rd so that would help. Loved the last thread, it was so much fun discussing theories.

That last thread was amazing. Discussing what was going on was so thought provoking, especially seeing how everyone takes each detail in a different light.

So I have been confused about something... Before moving the island, Ben told Locke that it was only done as a LAST RESORT. Yet I think it was Mrs. Faraday who told the survivors at the lamp post station before returning to the island that the reason they were never rescued was because the island was always moving.

Here's my theory: The island is always moving. This would be explained by the random rains that you see in Seasons 1 and 2, and Yemi's Plane that crashed on the Island. However when you move the wheel, instead of physically moving the Island from place to place, you move it through TIME. Basically by moving that wheel you've just Bill & Tedd'd the Island. Yadidamean?

That makes sense but it just got me thinking of a lot of other stuff as well. Has the wheel been turned before? Did Ben know what would happen when he turned the wheel? If it had been turned what happened to that person? If not, what did Ben expect to happen? If some of this was answered in the show, I forgot.
