we are roughly a month and a half away from the conclusion to the dark knight trilogy.

It is reported that the dark knight rises will be nearly 3 hours (2 hours and 45 minutes to be exact).

also select amc theaters are going to be showing batman begins and the dark knight leading into the dark knight rises much like the avengers marathon

I doubt they'll take that out. Most of the stuff from the trailers will be in it I think.

Also, does anyone else get tingly when thinking about Bane ripping Gotham apart?

i was planning on doing it 3 days so ill do this instead, it wont be that bad. my friends did the marvel marathon thing amc did Iron Man Iron Man 2 Hulk Thor Captian America and then the Avengers at midnight

Thats not why im unintersted, its bc the trailers just seem boring to me. I liked the first two but bane isnt doing it for me. I know hes literally blowing up gotham and fucking up bruce but the trailers are just showing too much talking.
The avengers showed so much action in the trailers and i saw it and there was so much more shit i had no clue would happen. They arent interesting me enough withTDKR. Ill still see it bc i have faith in nolan but they arent hyping this like dark knight

You gotta accept that its never gonna be your personal ideal, its not even the directors ideal he's got a team of people adding their own tastes. I know Ill have problems with it but at the end of the day I get to see batman on a big screen

I kind of feel the same way. Maybe it's because I don't know much about Bane but I don't find him that intimidating and I'm a bit turned off by the massive set pieces (football field, airplane). Also my feelings are slightly hurt because they didn't shoot this one in Chicago.

All the theaters around here are Regal, so I won't be able to do the marathon, but I'm totally piped beyond belief for this movie regardless.
