What part did you not read where they are "lowering" fees that was posted above didn't you read?

Annoying to use?
Its a website. Be happy. Just read the directions and you'll be ok.

When we were kids and there was big shows like this, you had to drive hours and hours and just hope you got tickets to get in or could sneak in.
The first time I got a "ticket" for a large out of town show, I was 16 and my Xmas present was a ticket to the AF reunion in NYC.
Until that show, I didn't use a ticket for anything that was "big"

Ticketmaster is by far the route for us to go with all the webcrashes we had with TIH and Ticketfly and Cock Sparrer and Ticketfly..

I finally found someone who will buy my ticket :smt001

One question. Just to make sure that I got this straight: if I am located in the US, will I get my ticket mailed to me OR will it be will call?

I was a huge Harms Way hater. Partly because of my friend Charlie who sang for Convicted who some of the Harms Way members were also a part of and alot of it was based on them being a boring band that people got worked up about because the singer had big muscles and wore a ski mask.

I've booked them twice in a year and they are by far one of the few band that stopped trying to sound like everyone else and just got their thing going now.

I can admit I was a dick and I am very happy they accepted my apology and were willing to play TIH.

Then he should be able to navigate a website that has literal million of users a year use without issue.

Having gone over this every year, I found that sites like ticketmaster who receive more traffic are the better way to do this, because we had HUNDREDS of people who had issues with ticketfly crashing and it really sucks to put this together and break someones heart when they had tickets in a cart and then they reset because the site servers can't process the sales for them.

No the $115 is the price you plus the ticketing fee which is under $10 bucks easily, as opposed to a normal ticketmaster ticketing fee of almost $20.

They are matching ticketfly's pricing for this and its a great deal for everyone.

TIH 2012 costs $ to get in.
Your $115 pays alot of people..you pay the bands who are bringing your ass out to Philadelphia, you're paying the staff to work it, you're paying the rent that allows the building and parking lots to be used at our discretion, it pays the nearly $20,000 in city taxes for having such an event in their beautiful city and a myriad of other things.

This is really the lowest I could physically charge without having to worry about losing $.

the average hardcore "fest" is 300-500 kids. They charged $30 for 1 day of UB
S&F is like $35 a night I believe
I am pretty sure BnB was $40 this year and last year.
ECT was $40 a night last year.

For what we put together and how we make it happen, we pay bands the most we physically are able and we bring in as many extra perks as possible, but it is a financial enterprise so there has to be $ to make it happen.

Maybe one day I'll get all this crazy scion or trident money and I'll run a fest that we can get behemoth, lynyrd skynyrd, cocksparrer, judge and manower to all headline...

Until then its hardcore shows and trying to make everyone happy

I gotcha! I wasn't complaining at all though, if that's what my post showed hahaha. I was just making sure I had enough money for everything. I got around $125 on budget, so I should be fine then

No, I am just explaining so maybe if people read the thread, they'll see that this $115 is really a stupid move for me because basically 1000 people are getting a show for free, but I want as many people as possible to come to as many days as they can go/afford/make it to.
Its hard to rationalize to "kids" why things are what they are.
I don't make the rules, I follow the guidelines and I try to make everyone happy
So if I write that out, its an explanation.

I don't predict sellouts. they happen, but I am always on the side of caution that we won't have anyone buy tickets. Every show we've ever had a sellout for I am happy with and usually surprised as I don't expect that many people to come.

As for this year vs. last year- There are enough tickets that EVERYONE should be able to get them.
Unless I am wrong that is.

$115 is a steal for this lineup. And the individual day prices are all fair. Anyone that complains about them should get hit by a car.

We have no way of predicting this with any degree of confidence. Again, we never bank on selling out. At the same time, if you want to go you should not wait to get a ticket.

This will be my first year going and I think this is the absolute best line up. I get to see so many bands I've never seen and always wanted to see play live. This is so awesome, and I don't mind paying the $115 for this, I thought it might be a bit more actually.

In all reality, you guys shoulda been saving since last year's TIH, cause everyone knows that this fuckin ese has a strange way of being able to out-do the previous years line up. Iven been looking at this line up over and over since it was released and get the same feeling every time... much like the first time I listened to SOIA's Blood Sweat and No Tears tape when my brother brought it home from a DRI show back in 89. Im 30 years old and the last of my friends who still goes to shows (sometimes by myself) and listens to hardcore music. Its stuff like this, that keeps me into it and coming back. Well done Joe Hardcore.
