I started working out last week.
Today I did 11 miles on my bike in 45 minutes and I started doing core stability exercise and I'm following a 100 push ups programme.
Once my core strength had improved I'm going to start running.
I'm glad one of my friends is a personal trainer so he helps me a lot. I'm already in my best shape ever but I can't wait to improve that significantly.

Bench Press 10/10/10/10/10
Chin Ups 10/10/10/10/10
Curls 10/10/10
Skull Crushers 10/10/10
Day 2
Dead Lift 5/3/1
Squat 10/10/10/10/10
Ab Wheel 10/10/10/10/10
Day 3
Bench Press 5/3/1
Military Press 10/10/10/10/10

Day 4
Squat 5/3/1
Dead Lift 10/10/10/10/10

Mon/Wed/Fri on a rotating basis... every day also has a 10 minute HIIT session (running or biking) after lifting. Saturdays I'll do whatever my wife is doing running-wise.... she's training for a half marathon, so it will be somewhere between 3 and 13 miles.

I have not eaten Taco Bell in a year. I used to eat it twice a week. I don't miss it.
This was my Monday workout:
Shoulder rehab warmup (3x20 floor press, 3x10 curls, 3x5 lifts @ a whopping 12lbs!!!!!!!!)
3x: 10 star jumps
10 lateral jumps
10 jump squats
10 floor dips
10 burpees
10 medicine ball twist squats
10 mountain climbers
Yeah, so that was fun...
Tuesday I did the rehab again, and yesterday I had derby practice for 1.5 hrs My week usually consists of derby 3x, gym 2-3x.

Today I'm doing arms at the gym. I have lost 15 lbs since the beginning of this year. About 50 lbs since August. Feeling lean and mean. I'm getting pumped for the gym as I type this.

yeaaaah, get healthy! i was looking for that weightloss thread but i guess it got deleted? i liked checking that thread from time to time. anyway, weighed myself today for the first time in a while and down to 165 from 220. i was actually surprised cause ive been trying to eat more to gain some weight but the opposite is happening haha. did a quick shoulders/trap day today
db press 4x8
frost and side raises 3x10
face pulls 5x10
upright rows 3x10
shrugs 4x10
in and out in a little less than an hour right as the gym started to get packed as hell.

I've been running for a while now. Since my surgery I started from scratch. Doing my 5km in 30 min now, 3x a week.
Doing some weights/push-ups/abs every night. I eat healthy too. Feels good.
I don't want to get ripped, just look good and feel good.

i took about 6-8 weeks off because of laziness and the weather but tuesday morning i got back to it. i cant do gyms anymore, too boring (though i miss squats and deadlifts). finally got a bike again so ill be riding that 5-10 miles daily, with longer rides on the weekends probably. also hitting the jump rope, sprints, pushups, dips, and pullups every other day. gotta work my kettlebell back into the fold as well once or twice a week. being fit is fucking awesome.

the beginning of january, i weighed 340-345. my new years resolution was to start living a healthier lifestyle. i quit smoking. i quit drinking soda. i cut out almost all processed food. i reduced my caloric intake. i started going to the gym 3 days a week and once i became addicted, i upped it to 5. i have one cheat day a week where i eat whatever the fuck i want. i weighed in yesterday morning at 299.5. this is the first time in my adult life (and as long as i can remember) that i have weighed less than 300 lbs. i am 6'7". my goal is 250 maybe lower. we'll see how i feel once i get there.

So is this the new "Weight loss" Thread basically?
If so, just posting to say that I hit 250 today, which is about a 40 Lb. loss total, and 18 lbs. within the last 2 months.
Also posting to say that I just got done running 2.7 miles. Which is about 2.7 more than I've ran in the last 5-6 years.

I started this "from running to walking" thing. It's similar to that "couch to 5K", I've been dominating so far. I only started on Monday but I hope I can keep it up!
I do that Monday, Wednesday, Friday for cardio, and do strength exercises/pilates on Tuesday and Thursday.
Except today I took too long of a nap so I feel super drowsy, only did a few arm reps. I'll have to make up for it tomorrow. I want to start lifting free weights but I hate my university's gym so I'm going to wait until I move into an apartment complex with a small gym area.

I joined a gym that is literally empty every day. It's made me love going five days a week. Using the steam room and showering after each workout. Feels good man. Got a pull up bar at my house now, great for added reps throughout the day.
The gym scale says I'm almost 170 but I don't believe it. I gotta check my digital one when I go home. I was hovering around the mid-160's a month ago. Before last summer, I was at a slump of weighing 145 due to breaking my wrist and getting tendinitis in my shoulder. I only have one more hurdle in my way in terms of forced rest, removing a marble of cartilage and smoothing the bone in that shoulder in late May.
For cardio training, I run up hills in a weight vest and do sprints with it in the park. Usually once a week.

I know Uganda and you posted some really useful body calculation stuff in the other thread. All I've ever done training wise is lift and climb and when I was lifitng exclusively, I ate as much as I could all the time, now I gotta drop some weight to climb better. Still have a good calorie counter I can use to figure out my intake? I know Uganda posted up a formula a lot, but the name is escaping me.
