Can we talk about how fucking stupid this trade is? Top 10 scorer, top 10 in steals, 2nd in assists from any position not at the point behind Lebron and oh Ekpe Udoh was only putting up Ibaka breakout numbers in terms of blocks. We get dumpster Jack Sparrow and the constantly injured Bogut. I hated management from day one because of this shit, and now they pull the trigger on something so lopsided. I'd rather have Kaman.
GREAT JOB MANAGEMENT YOU ARE SO AWESOME AT WHAT YOU DO PLEASE GET RID OF CURRY AND LEE TOO.

Bucks made a good trade today. Yeah they will probably lose in the 1st round to the Bulls or Heat if they make the playoffs. Still pumped we got Udoh and Ellis.

You're getting a human highlight reel that nobody cared about because he played on bad teams. Cherish him.

Fuck Peter Guber and Joe Lacob. Guber shouldn't be owning or running a team. From day one they wanted Monta and Steph both gone and they succeeded.Since Steph is basically gone he's injured so much. They have horrible teams, yet top 5-10 in attendance the last few years because of Monta being a human highlight reel. I love David Lee, but nobody is going to come out to the Oracle anymore. No reason too. Its going to hurt them financially and I hope they realize it and get out of player personnel.

For the sake of fucking up the franchise for the next few years, I hope they lose that protected lottery pick to the Jazz

As someone who is a big fan of what Utah is doing, and my having hated how they've run the Warriors since they bought them, I hope so too.

I don't like the trade much, but really if the Warriors tank the rest of this season and manage to get a top 7 pick their line up would be:
PG Steph Curry
SG/SF Klay Thompson
SG/SF Top 7 pick in a really deep draft
PF David Lee
C Andrew Bogut
Other than the fact that Curry and Bogut's ankles are made of glass, that's a pretty good team.

This trade is pretty puzzling. The Bucks have to be trying to trade Jennings too... while a Jennings/Ellis back court is fun to watch, it's just going to be Golden State 2.0. How do they not see that? I'd rather see a vet like Beno at the point with Jennings playing SG than start Ellis and Jennings both. No way Ellis accepts a Harden-like 6th man role... not with how well he's been playing.
1) At least Ellis will make the All Star game now.

2) I can't believe GSW gave Kwame that dumb contract, only to get injured and traded.
3) GSW should have tried pawning Biedrin's garbage contract onto Milwaukee too.
If Bogut gets back to even 75%, the Warriors will make out huge. He's capable of being a top 3 center when healthy.
Also, it sounds like they're trying to flip Captain Jack too, so I doubt he lasts a whole season back in Golden State. I wouldn't mind seeing him back in San Antonio for Manu insurance. A two-guard rotation of Manu/Jackson/Neal would be deadly.

1) bogut is never a top 3 or 5 center. i cant name at least 8 that are better
2) no one is dumb enough to take on the biedrin's contract, otherwise he'd be gone
3) knowing the Cornell graduate warriors history the past 20 years, they'll miss out on the lottery. good move trading for marcus williams 2 years ago.

i posted this in the other thread before it got deleted.
the bucks look like they're going to follow the sixers model to try to contend. get a bunch of athletic perimeter guys, a couple good ballhandlers, and couple efficient low post players and out-quick everyone. young core of ellis-jennings-udoh-ersan-mbah a moute-delfino/dunleavy going forward looks pretty good
the only reasoning i have for the warriors is they're trying to make the team mark jackson wants. big, physical, smart, tenacious. which isn't the worst idea. but its a really dumb idea to make it happen with a chronically injured 7 footer and a washed up headcase. and they didn't even dump the biedrins contract

This is being handled so much worse than the LeBron or 'Melo situations. I know it's Otis Smith, but fucking christ, I've never seen a team bungle an impending free agent like this.

I was quiet after last night's game but the Grizzlies barely lost a double OT game without two of their starters playing and some very generous calls going the Lakers way.
The FTA difference was 34 to 5 (and 2 of those were off technicals). So you're telling me the Grizzlies put up 116 shots and only got fouled 2 times? 2 times!?!
That's not even possible.
Not to mention Bynum being allowed to travel on a lot of his post moves and the Barnes clear path call when he tripped over his own foot and OJ was at least even with him if not in front of him and ended up being a 5 point play.
These refs are killing me.
