Officialish Diablo 3 Topic

So I'm not seeing any current ones about it, and with all the hype over the possible leaked release date, I figured I might as well make a new one. I don't think the newest version of the rune system was out last time there was a topic. I understand people's gripes about the fact that it cuts down a lot on the differentiation between players, but for me personally, I'm intrigued by the ability to change builds pretty easily. I really can wait to get my hands on this game. Fuck, I'd gladly take just the beta at this point.

Played through the Beta on every type of character. Can't wait for the actual game to come out. I think I am going to make a Demon Hunter first.

I thought the rune system was okay, I've only done the beta once with that.

I really hope that the anticipated Q2 timeframe is met. I bought myself a new computer primarily for the fact that my old one couldn't play it, and I'm currently getting a new mouse for it as well since my old one is junk. I'd really like to put them to proper use.

I believe the current official word is it's something they're looking into, but I believe it's just PC at the moment.

I have absolutely no interested in PvP whatsoever, so no skin off of my back. I don't really have an interest in playing with a group of people. Just me and my witch doctor is all I need.

diablo already has like infinite replay value without pvp. no worries.

sooooo excited for this. hopefully my laptop can run it alright. never gamed on it before (haven't played an online game since either Star Wars Galaxies or Counter-Strike...easily like 6 years ago)

So, what're people planning on rolling first? Witch Doctor. Been primarily a Necromancer in D2, and that seems to be the one most in line to that in D3.

Yeah, it's out on May 15th. You can pre-order and get a digital copy, or whatever. My video card isn't nearly good enough for this, though. :smt010

Thought this was coming out in April, but totally piped it's May, should be able to have a new rig up by then.

Probably going to roll Monk, I played primarily Paladins in D2, and my last stint with gaming was few years on a Bard in eq2. Want something that's a melee centered class with some utility.

Now that they've announced an exact date, I don't think so. If it does get delayed, then the anger they've already faced over this will pale in comparison.

blizzard always waits to announce the release until they are 100% sure everything is good to go, which is why it takes forever for them to release games
