Just an idea (I'm not sure if it has been discussed yet) -- a tally system may be helpful for the good sellers, a la ebay.

I have backed two sellers that have already been listed as good sellers, but their legitimacy will be further established with additional tallies. Although, this may prove to be a lot of work. At any rate, I think it would be worth it.

Im new to this but there was an American on ebay, i dont remember his user but he sold me a Cruel Hand Madball rip for $27 plus $20 shipping and he never sent it me, he was in a band and sold loads of gear on ebay, he claimed he was selling stuff to help with his bands recordings, if anyone can point me in direction of getting hold of him, it would be a massive help

He told me he shipped an Integrity hoodie I bought from him in early January days after I paid. But it got "lost in the mail" apparently. He said he would ship another one of the three he supposedly owns, but was unable to ship it because of personal reasons.

Now is is promising a refund if I cancel the paypal dispute I made against him. If I don't see the money by tomorrow afternoon, its getting escalated to a claim. I suggest you the the same. He is flaked hard on me, and if he isn't even responding to your PMs, you are probably in the same boat.

Good Sellers:

Steviebeam - bought many shirts in a bulk package from him, shipped fast, all in great shape, well packaged, etc. etc.

xNASTYxNATEx614 - Bought an Integrity shirt from him, shipped fast, perfect condition.

Nick Lamoureux - Great seller, bought a decent amount of stuff from, lost the PM's since they get automatically deleted.

And about a million more who I've bought from on here.

I only had one semi-sketchy transaction on here, with member "strokeface", but it got cleared up eventually. I paid for a couple shirts, and about 2-3 weeks went by, nothing came. Several times the "work/school" excuse came up, but he did eventually come through. There was even one time where he said he had shipped, nothing came, and then he said "oh man, I didn't get the chance to." I feel that, as a seller, if you cannot schedule 5 minutes of your time to go to the post office on your way to work/band practice/etc., then you shouldn't be selling. But whatever, bullshit set aside, he came through and I got what I had paid for!

Also, I think this forum should have a B/S/T similar to some other forums I frequently post on.. something that's moderated, requires pictures to sell, and has an actual complaint section, where people who can volunteer to moderate (trusted long-standing members) can help search through poster's IP's, and work together to track down bad sellers. After all, some of us have lost quite a bit of cash on here to bad people?

i'm not expecting any of this to happen, but if the dude who originally posted this thread can't update it frequently i think it should just be forgotten about and started again by someone new. i get that people have lives outside of the internet...but there's more than enough people who get on here and sell a lot of stuff that would be fine with keeping up with it(myself included). just a thought.

True, for instance, since I collect sneakers, I post on n-sb.org, where they have a B/S/T setup that, when you put in a for sale post, instead of being directly posted to the forums, it's submitted to be reviewed by staff before being posted on the forums. This helps weed out the fake merchandise, keep everything organized, etc.

Hell, you could even sort it by Size (Youth sizes, adult small, adult medium, adult large, adult xl, adult 2x and above), to make searching much easier, or sort records by size or genre or whatever.

It'd all take quite a bit of rebuilding, but I think it'd be a hell of a lot easier than digging through pages of sold/mislabeled stuff, and then the post getting deleted.. Also, a similar complaint/hall of shame forum where you could publicly put the seller on blast could help. With the majority of my transactions, I will usually ask for a phone number, address (to send a money order to if I decide to not use paypal), or a picture of their photo ID (with personal info aside from the picture/name/home address blocked out). Anything that furthers my level of security, why not?

I'd be glad to help in any way I could, as I think it could benefit all of us, especially considering how many people were scammed out of $40, 50, 100+... And that's just the people who have posted in this thread, think how many might not post as much anymore or didn't notice this thread yet.
