I originally downloaded this one purely because of the fact that they put an alien on the cover. To my surprise, this is actually REALLY fucking good. On MA, a guy compared this to Atheist, which isn't a bad place to start (although it doesn't really sound like Atheist).

Monolith - Tales of the Macabre

I'm sure some people on here have listened to this before already. Heavy.

An all female DM band, 1995 demo. Pretty good stuff.

I'm too lazy to look into it, but how come the new Blasphemophagher album was pushed back into next year? Wasn't it supposed to come out October/November this year?

Yeah, who knows! A new Necros Christos album was supposed to come out this fall too, but never did.

Does anyone know where you can get an Autopsy long sleeve with the Mental Funeral design? I can only find it on eBay, and it would be $37 shipped, which is more than I want to pay for a recently printed shirt.

That top 25 should include:

Teitanblood - Seven Chalices
Embrace of Thorns - Atonement Ritual

Those were just this year, but definitely top 10 of the decade for me.

Yeah, they're worthy. I just haven't really decided what of the 09 class is "Best of the Decade" material. Those two definitely are.

Major bummer.

Did anyone download the House of Usher "When Being Fucked With" demo from this thread when the link was active? I was looking around for it online, but no blogs had it uploaded.

Hm, I did almost the exact same search, except I typed "blog" instead of "blogspot" (and ended up searching about five pages back the first time around). Apparently that makes all the difference. Thanks anyway.

I see.
I just use blogspot instead of blog for rarer stuff, because most blogs are blogspot's anyhow. typing in "mediafire" or "rapidshare" helps sometimes too

Blackend Death/Thrash from Paraguay. This is seriously one of the best records I've heard all year! Talk about saving the best for last! My only complaint is that I wish It was longer. If you're into old Brazilian thrash, check this out ASAP.

Oh fuck. Seriously, people who don't know about Sphynx have no hope for ever attaining metal credibility.

THE ANIMAL OF THE ETHER
THE OVAL OF THE SPHYNX'S EYE HAS REFLECTED LIGHT OUTSIDE OF THIS TRIANGULAR AXIS

I really wish Proscriptor would've stayed in the band. Melechesh have no direction without him as the arranger and conceptual coordinator.

$18.50 before shipping

http://interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=152440&

Interpunk sucks. Shipping takes forever and is expensive; however, you'd pay more at a record store for it and legit metal distros have long sold out of this Death-Spiritual Healing 180g repress. I believe this repress was done 2008/2009.

House of Usher - Promo #2

http://www.mediafire.com/?hjkjxk1jz1j

Its a miracle by chance, I found it a couple of months ago; took various keywords until I found the site only to find that the link was inactive so I made my friend contact the guy(Can't type Russian) to reupload it, I was shocked on how fast my friend got a hold of the link sometimes to get a demo back on the net will take weeks or even days to see if the owner budges. This is just a reup of the original download, I really didn't find the tape.
