Maybe you're not using it at the right range or something? It's a god-tier midrange weapon, but up close you're better off with a sidearm or SMG. At first I made the mistake of trying to use an AR for close quarters fights but that usually doesn't work so well.

On a side note, what is y'all's go to channel for destiny videos? I've been watching a lot of Ceeday videos because hes not like monotone and he talks a lot of shit which makes it really entertaining. On top of that there's a lot of meme's thrown in there and that's quality youtubing. I'm just trying to widen my channels because although Ceeday posts a video daily, I've already ran out of Destiny 2 videos to watch on his channel... So if ya watch some lesser known player that talks shit and is entertaining please point me in the direction.

I'm happy with D2 PvP overall, sorta hate that I can't pick my game type buuuut I just played a map I had never seen before for the first time yesterday (I'm about 225 but I only ran the main story missions and less than 10 strikes/public events/whatever combined. Strictly PvP otherwise.) How does that happen? It's the outdoor snowy one (from the D1 expansion with Lord Saladin and shit.) I haven't played that one in the city in fucking ages either, Destiny has always been terrible with that shit.

Wish I had picked Actium when I was playing through the story, I only use autos right now. I also haven't found a scout that I really love though either.

Also buffed aggressive hand cannons too! They raised all other grenades while lowering the damage of the outlier. They are actually doing some shit I like. I would assume we'll see them touch on pulse rifles at some point in the not-too-distant future, but I am pleased with this balancing patch to be completely honest.

I saw a bunch of people on the subreddit complaining about pulses.. I've never been a pulse guy but I really hope Bungie doesn't hear that criticism and send us back to the Grasp of Malok meta. It felt like the era of pulse dominance in D1 crucible lasted fucking forever.

What will likely happen, based on the previous behaviors of bungo, is they'll look at usage data and go "oh fuck no one is using these. Guess we should fix that." in like 3 patches later than necessary.

That said, besides that, I'm okay with this balancing patch. I prefer SMGs/Autos/MIDA which are already in the meta, and Hand Cannons look like they will be better now too.

im actually running a long range scope on it, and i never do that with autos...its looking like its gonna replace the uriel for most people, havent used it in pvp yet but i got high hopes

forgot what it was called, but i got the last hope clone too, 3 round burst, but the stability is way lower

What are your biggest complaints? I have a few of my own but overall I'm way into D2. I had over 2000 hours on D1 and I'm still really into this game even though I do have some legitimate gripes. When I see Destiny veterans talk about how they don't even play anymore it makes me curious.
