Liam played his first (that I know of) solo show last night. He just announced a Lollapalooza after show at a pretty small venue and I was kind of on the fence about trying to go until I saw his setlist:
‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’ ‘Morning Glory’ ‘Greedy Soul’ (New song) ‘Wall of Glass’ (New song) ‘Bold’ (New song) ‘Paper Crown’ (New song) ‘D’You Know What I Mean’ ‘Slide Away’ ‘It Doesn’t Have To Be That Way’ (New song) ‘You’d Better Run, You’d Better Hide’ (New song) ‘Universal Gleam’ ‘Be Here Now’ (with Bonehead) ‘Live Forever’

Found a new song.. not that bad sounds a bit like Shock of The Lightning, at least at the beginning.. I've come to terms that his vocals will never be the same though, that "nasal" sound ain't leaving.
If he ever comes to town I'll have to go. Never saw Oasis and it still hurts.
*Edit This one sounds much better, I think the bastard is gonna pull it off with this new album. Now I'm optimistic.
post Oasis i have seen Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Beady Eye and Noel was the best with his own new songs and Liam with the Oasis covers but not the Beady Eye songs
Been listening to What's the Story Morning Glory a lot lately. Never really dug too deep with Oasis. What's the best album to check out after What's the Story?

Definitely Maybe if you haven't heard that yet. Be Here Now is good too but it is such a coked out mess haha

Thanks. I've definitely heard it but will revisit it.
It's nuts how integral both Liam and Noel were to Oasis. There wouldn't be songs if it weren't for Noel but the attitude/live show wouldn't be the same without Liam.
I have been on such an incredibly huge Oasis kick. Like a lot of people, too young, only knew Wonderwall didn't ever bother with anything else. Still think there's a lot of dogshit in that discography but there are some cuts.

Gunna have to disagree. I think their performance in the dvd of Live by the Sea is better. It's when they still had Tony on drums (who recorded SMS on What's the Story.) Even though he's a worse drummer than Alan, I think the way he played in a more straightforward manner on the tune is better than Alan's swing.
I do like that one as well. I love that he heckles the crowd right before it starts. I think his voice sounds better on the White Room one but the drumming is undeniably better, you're definitely right.
Depends on the album I guess, but overall I'd say Part Of The Queue and Gas Panic!. I know Acquiesce was a live set staple for them but I don't think it gets nearly enough credit. The only song featuring Liam/Noel sharing vocal parts and top 3 catchiest choruses of any Oasis song.

D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman Talk Tonight (If that even counts as underrated)
