why is a pair of $25 work gloves suddenly $100 when you slap their logo all over it?

is it all just an elaborate joke? it this Harmony Korine's fault?

the brand is plagued by resellers. supreme's runs were always limited but the interest in the brand spiked over the last decade to where nothing is spared in the web store haha.

Boring people without any real interests/hobbies will spend a fortune on the clothing they see people they think are "cool" wearing. That about sums it up. Anybody I've ever seen wear Supreme is a fresh-out-the-box try hard.

isn't that how name brands work?

the cherry video was cool. they do collaberations with cool artists all the time but i agree the swag culture/ buying reselling shit is tacky as are a lot of their clothes but thats kinda the case with everything.

tldr i wish my daddy bought me supreme

I can do like 4 different ones, but the regular ones are not a way that my body likes to bend. No Compossibles for some reason though, are like a walk in the park.

At one time I believe there were only 2 stores one in japan and one in NYC and they were like the size of a bedroom. No online sales and only like 10 people at a time were allowed in. People would camp out for days to get in on the release and instantly sell everything for 3 to 4 times retail. Now a days I think it's really an inside joke

none of this is true except the last sentence. there was never supreme resale until about 2011.

Thats bullshit because my friends use to sit outside the supreme NYC shop for days and flip that stuff online to foreign buyers in the early 2000's

I was nursing a brain splitting hangover two days ago and popped into a British pub in downtown Santa Monica (first mistake) and all I wanted was to drink a few beers in silence but there was this fucking Asian kid with horrible knuckle tattoos 'love 1990' wearing a stussy hoodie with the good on the entire time that kept laughing in a very urban way and throwing his hands up, flailing all around saying 'awwwww shit dog!' Followed by aggressive rubbing of his face and going 'nahhhhh shit'. He wanted to say the n word so bad.

hahaha. I'm just saying the price of the one he bought. I know they have random shit that's like $700. He bought a $400 sweatshirt the other day if I'm not wrong on the price. Something like that. I mean, to each their own. I just wouldn't.

also, all these clothes and items do is prove that slapping a name on an inanimate object can boost the price. And if someone doesn't realize that, they're cooked haha.
