I don't know if it's just because I'm getting older, but Coachella lineups seem to be more underwhelming with each year.

I feel you brother, the biggest "thing" happening is David Byrne...no reunions or anything really.

no doubt. with each year it obviously has dipped towards the mainstream but usually it was balanced with some excellent reunions or old esteemed acts but this year feels like one of the blandest offerings yet

Who the FUCK is the target audience for this garbage anymore? There's literally two bands on this list with maybe 4-5 combined songs I'd like to hear live. The rest is a mish-mash of flavor of the month hipster shit, hip hop for white kids and A Perfect Circle for no apparent reason.

It's such a weird experience...when I worked last year, I didn't realize it was all ages...so many fucking kids. It's just a weird time, a lot of Instagram spots, and...it's just for anybody who wants to look cool really.

This is hot garbage, but then again it's never been my thing. It's at least had some redeeming acts over the years.

Would not attend- doesn't seem even remotely interesting and I don't recognize more than 10 bands/ musical acts on the entire bill. Rather go see a hardcore or underground hip hop show with a small crowd in a grimy venue.

People are weighing in on the shitty lineup. Absolutely nobody is complaining, saying they wish the lineup was better, or that they're super bummed about it.

this, as far as big festivals go ive only been to bonnaroo(seeing swans at maximum volume was tight), but this seems like a whole different beast....still...what a boring lineup..ive seen angel olsen in a tiny venue and it was great, seems like it wouldnt be nearly the same...i bet haim would be tight tho, they've got that big arena/festival rock sound (and they fine), i like migos but their set will probably be 95% of them jumping around while the backing recording plays

Not sure what's so unbelievable here. A Perfect Circle has a few decent songs on Mer de Noms and Fazerdaze has a song I like. Is that okay with you?

Wow that is a rugged lineup. Only shit I actually like a lot is The Bronx and Priests, and the only other things I'd bother watching outside of them is A Perfect Circle, Fidlar, Alvvays, Fleet Foxes, Oh Sees, Perfume Genius, and War on Drugs.

I laughed my fucking ass off seeing X on here. I hope hope hope that this means a tour. My heart dropped for that fact when I saw their name. This means so much to me but bums me out so much knowing it very well could be a one off with how Yoshiki is kinda trying to not play drums so a tour is iffy. He played drums last night on Japanese TV, gonna check it out to see how he is.

It also is way funny to me that they're literally one of the most successful Japanese bands of all time and have thaaaaat small of text on the flyer haha. If this was Japan, they'd sell the Tokyo Dome out in an hour with no supporting acts.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kamasi Washington, Brockhampton, David Byrne, and Princess Nokia. But Coachella's expensive as shit and I have no idea who most of these artists are.

I feel like every year the people complaining about the lineup are people that would never go to Coachella anyway (myself included).

Coachella sells out every year before the line up is even announced. They don't need to put any effort in to make this fest happen in terms of talent. The best thing about Coachella is watching the live stream from the comfort of your room and I love the B9 tradition of this every year of watching it with you all.

Most musical fests are dumb anyways, I like it when a band can play a full set.

This is actually the best Coachella line up ever, y'all are just completely out of touch with the impending new paradigm of post-millennial musical endeavors. In 50 years they'll be calling Coachella 2018 the "spark that ignited the new musical revolution and completely changed the landscape of the white-privilege musical movement," and y'all will be sitting in your wheelchairs at the retirement home, too senile to successfully jack in to your electronic bingo app, but just lucid enough to be reminded of all of the sloppy, molly induced, blowzas you missed out on by not attending Coachella 2018. You will want nothing else but to end your suffering, but alas your lungs are no longer strong enough to accelerate your antique Christopher Reeve model Sip 'n' Puff motorized wheelchair quick enough to outsprint the orderly to the staircase.
