This is an objectively wrong and stupid opinion that has been seemingly gaining steam recently. I blame people who read Noisey.

The Breeders were pretty awesome, but the Pixies' original run (Come on Pilgrim all the way to Trompe le Monde) is about as perfect as it gets. Soooooo many classics.

I like the Breeders more than the last couple Pixies records from the original run. And definitely more than the newer Pixies records.

I saw R.Ring, Kelley's new project, and I like them a lot. To me the Deal sisters singing is one of the finer sounds the universe has created.

They're great, I just find them to be slightly less great than the other ones.

Although "Dig For Fire" is one of my favorite Pixies songs.

hol up, that's the only song you like?? if you like the breeders THAT much then there should be like dozens more pixies songs you like since musically/sonically speaking they have a lot of songs that sound very similar during certain periods

Would rather watch The Breeders now than watch the current Pixies lineup, but I don't agree with OP's statement

Dumb opinion that isn't close to being right, and I say that as someone who thinks the Breeders rule.
