What record is better and why?
No right or wrong response, just explain yourself.

Plus, I know it was one album vs another, but outside of those albums, BA has one song I really dig, while Turmoil has a bunch, namely Anchor and Choke.

Turmoil by a long way. I also think turmoil is one of the best bands from that era. Riffage, tone, energy that was all their own, impossible to duplicate. They hold up so well.

Turmoil, all day. Best record from that era and it still destroys most modern releases.

yes basically every response general concensus. Band is still criminally underrated. The riffs, vocals, grooves. Ahead of their time influenced so many awesome bands and people still don't know them. They really had an energy all their own. They recorded a full length with Nate Johnson when he was in the band and it's just sitting on a hard drive... That kills me. Nothing can touch Gula on Process of... But Johnson is a fucking beast and I could totally get behind Turmoil 2.0 with Nate... Basically he's the only acceptable voice to get down with Turmoil if they don't have Gula but anyway my pal recorded the album I mentioned and I been trying to hear it for a while would be a huge shame if itnever sees the light of day...

It's better off sitting on a hard drive. Musically, the album is a monster, but it doesn't translate as well with Nate on vocals.

Buried Alive > Turmoil
Both Albums are great but that buried alive album sounds genuinely defeated and angry. Love the turmoil riffs tho

I completely forgot about the Nate Johnson thing. His vocals are absurd. I also choose The Process Of over Death of Your Perfect World. Although, hearing those old BA songs in philly this summer will be one for the books.
