What kind of stuff do you like? Museums? History? Records?

Only event I know of going on this weekend is the food truck festival.

I like history and museums....free is good. Also into cool bars/food.... Used to be vegan but not anymore. I do like gimmicky places.

I remember distinctly some dude from Boston saying something like, "f.aggot kids think they're gonna come visit here and see Wes Nightmare and Aaron Bedard walking down the street everywhere they go."

When I was there I saw lots of empty shooter bottles in the gutters. That's about it.

But I also stayed in Revere, for what that's worth.

hotels downtown will be expensive, I'd suggest trying to find a place in somerville, something near a t station and just use that and uber to go everywhere

Last time I stayed in Boston I stayed at an Air B n B in Winthrop, like $120/night, five-minute walk to the T station. Way nicer and cheaper than most of the hotels you could stay at.

I was in Boston back in April, and stayed at an AirBNB in Jamaica Plain. It was like $100 a night, and a 20 minute walk to the T. Not too shabby.

seems too good to be true tbh, unless the pricing is based off the length of your stay.

There's also a distinction between renting a house/apt, renting a floor, and renting a room through Air B'n'B. The latter is obviously the cheapest, so $44 seems low, but if it's just for some college kid's bedroom or something it could make sense.

You probably don't want to wait too long, though, because some of the best choices might be booked already by then. $44 seems like a good price for a city like Boston, especially if you get your own room.

Come for the clam chowder, stay for the deeply-ingrained systemic culture of racism.

M Street Beach is sick if you want to catch some rays and a high school gang brawl all in one sitting.

Armageddon Records (shop), Pinocchio's Pizza (eat) and Charlie's Kitchen (drink) are three fantastic things that are all right next to each other.

I've been having a lot of fun visiting my grandfather at MGH after he broke his neck coming home from a separate one-week stay at MGH. You're more than welcome to tag along. As per the above, he says some of the most fantastically racist shit I've ever heard in my life, even when the "Puerto Rican broad" nurse "with the huge ass" is within ear shot.

I live in Winthrop, bought a house here after renting for four years. It's amazingly convenient compared to so many other neighborhoods. No clue why the housing market hasn't exploded here yet.

That's surprising to me, it was a beautiful area in a convenient location, I'd have imaged housing there to be disgustingly expensive.

And OP, if you do Air B'N'B, the Winthrop place I stayed was w/ Jez & Ken. Cannot recommend it and them enough.

^lol honestly

Definitely stop in Armageddon Records. It's in Harvard Sq, Cambridge. It's small but great. You can find some cool shirts too.
I suggest you eat at Felipe's if you go. Great burritos. Just a few blocks over.
Concepts is a streetwear store right next to Felipe's.
Harvard Sq, Cambridge is just a few miles from Fenway, Boston.

No Name in the waterfront (just a few miles from Fenway) is really great seafood. I recommend the seafood chowder. Its thin weirdly, but amazing tasting.

Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge is a great walk around if you're into that.

Drink iced coffee and smoke weed. Don't stop eating.
