Bleeding through - this is love, this is murderous
As I lay dying - frail words collapse
Himsa - courting tragedy and disaster
Glass casket - we are gathered here today
Atreyu - suicide notes and butterfly kisses
The agony scene - self titled

Eighteen Visions - Until the Ink Runs Out (best metalcore album ever)
Burial Year - Pestilence
Zao - Self Titled
Botch - An Anthology of Dead Ends
Curl Up And Die -The One Above All, The End of All That Is (not really metalcore, but they were kinda tech metal core and this album is very much worth mentioning)

Orange county based band. Played Koos Cafe all the time. Album was "Queen Anne's revenge" I lost my copy years ago. Any help finding anything would be appreciated. Thanks!

Still rock my Embrace The End hoodie every winter, despite the fact that it's way too big on me. One of the only bands who did the "deathcore" thing correctly, along with Animosity.

Novella of Uriel is a great album. I saw Blood has been Shed with 18 Visions at the basement hall in Santa Cruz in 2000. They were really heavy.

Without getting into the whole yawnsome "genres are bullshit" thing, I wouldn't consider them metalcore.

Also, are we just pretending that Converge doesn't exist? Because Jane Doe pretty much set the standard for most 2000s metalcore.
