The hash browns weren't like pan cooked, but rather shredded and deep fried - too crispy - it might have worked with the sausage gravy, but they we're sort of just bland and dry and didn't work. I'm particular with my spuds.

word. i need to go there also.

Popeye's had a Friday special a few days ago w/ 8 pieces for $5.99. It was...not great. The wings were the best, the breasts weren't good at all. First time I had been there since it opened here, about 2 years ago.

Just one? One of the size of your breasts maybe

I dont discriminate -- white or dark meat. Sometimes i just prefer less grease and opt for white

+ Chicken was good. Very crispy skin, seasoned well, meat was juicy. Portion was decent.
+ Waffle was a little softer than I'd have wanted but served with an herb butter that redeemed it.
- Mac and Cheese wasn't great. Needed salt and was a little over-cooked.
- The entire meal was served in a bowl. There was no way to logistically use a knife and fork to get a bite with waffle and chicken on it from a rounded surface. I ended up eating it out of the cover of the bowl (shown) and even that was difficult.
- It cost me almost $20 for the entree, small side, and a soda.

Would go again and only order chicken.

people in southern california people should check out the 'cove' style wings and 'cove chicken' from Coyote Grill in Laguna Beach. It's a mexican place but the fried chicken is spot on. They opened like 30 years ago or something but the place that was there before was called The Cove and they kept their fried chicken recipe on the menu because people loved it so much. And the happy hour is killer. These six wings are 3.50 and there is a bunch of other stuff for $3.50 too. Beers are $3.50 tequila shots are $3.50, all well drinks.

what are korean wings like?

also, I was in Salina Cruz in Oaxaca and there were all these local places touting 'Kentucky Fried Chicken' but I never was able to stop by one. I can only imagine that they would be really good and very greedy.

Zaxby's gone and raised their prices like a motherfucker. Like, $2.50-$3 for the same ol' shit. A Wings n Things "meal" is now $10.50, it was under $8 last week.

Search Twitter bout it, its hilarious.

Idk about all the way out in LA, but as a dude who usually eats at TN locations, the out of state ones have been very consistent. I might actually like the one in St Louis the most.
