I had maybe the best fried chicken of my life when I was in Atlanta last week. Busy Bee Cafe was just fantastic. Awesome peach cobbler, too.

A shoutout to Golden Chicken in Milwaukee near the Rave, too.

Near me the best I've had is at Revival in Minneapolis.

I love fried chicken.

Harold's > Popeye's all day.

I also have become a big fan of some local spots, primarily ROOST. Their batter and biscuits are the stuff wet dreams are made of.

let's also discuss how the only breakfast food that can compete with fried eggs/omelets/etc. is the transcendental combo of fried chicken and waffles.

i went on an insane luxury cruise a few years ago. they let you order anything as long as you give them a heads up so they can figure it out. i was craving fried chicken and waffles. they were kinda confused by the idea but executed it flawlessly. it was so dope

LET IT BE KNOWN- blackcox has been to harold's ONE TIME and complained that they take too long. they cook the order for the individual so it's as dank and fresh as possible but that's too much for him or her

Someone come visit me and give me an excuse to make you fried chicken. I used to work at hooters (as a cook dummies) when I was in college and learned a bit. I have a rad buttermilk/seasoned flour recipe that I personally think rules. So someone come over and let's drink beer/smoke drugs and eat fried chicken.

Hattie B's is becoming a chain, so they get my vote for best chain fried chicken.
H&H Soul Food in Macon, Georgia has the best fried chicken ever. They also have an insane brunch plate with a split biscuit topped with fried chicken, collards, and sausage gravy.
