Doesn't Tyrrell say something about Red Wheelbarrow when he's yelling at Elliot. The ARG for this show is fucking. BANANAS. I want to know everything. Right now.

Yea he does. But its also the menu that Elliot finds to decode and meet him. I like that they keep re using that, I just dont know if it means "something bigger" or if its just a brand that exists within the show like Duff does in The Simpsons. I guess I should have just searched the name plus yelp. Just did, got nothing.

this is pretty crazy too:

I'm hoping this ends up being a turning point for USA. Going to check out those new shows they've been showing previews for in case they become the next AMC.

As much as I hate existence most of the time..im so glad to be in this era of TV. Orphan Black, Mr Robot, Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror...this really is the new golden age of home entertainment.

The post credit scene made me have to figure which Fry's Electronic store that is since each location has a different theme in the front. That aztec one is in Phoenix.

The DA dude who takes Elliot and Tyrell up to that room in an elevator is eating takeout from red wheel barrel BBQ.

Ive never been to NYC, but is that a real place? Or is this turning into the shows Duff? Either way im cool with it.

Spoiler: show
Also, the DA guy eating that sandwich is the same guy that lets Elliot into the room when he first meets Whiterose in season 1

I gave it glowing reviews and the only feedback I gave was that I would have likely enjoyed a bit more of an exploration of the ramifications of deleting a large portion of Western civilization's liquidity, and a bit more highlighting of the fragility of our derivatives based economy. I am very interested (selfishly) in fantasizing about what people would do when the one true god, money, is defiled and dethroned in such a swift and bewildering way.

Ok, need something clarified from a few eps ago
Spoiler: show
At the end of the episode when Elliot goes back to his apt., goes up to the SUV, Joanna rolls down the window and says "Hello, Ollie." I watch online and had to turn captions on to see what she said, and sure enough, it was "Ollie." Does Joanna think Elliot is Ollie? I fell like I missed something

Apparently they were filming in my neighborhood this week and used a friend of my mom's house for a lengthy scene. And the mechanic shop I've gone to. They had to teach Slater and Bobby Cannavale how to change oil so they could do it realistically on the show. Didn't even know Cannavale was gonna be in this season.

It definitely has. I'm out of the loop and had not heard anything about the new season so when I saw the thread bump I was hoping it was going to be something like "next week!" but I can wait a couple months I suppose. What a good show.

This season looks like it's going to be a wild ride. Some of the hinted at plot lines are nuts. Love this show.

Spoiler: show
This episode seems to be strongly hinting at a time travel/parallel universes storyline?

I think White Rose sold Angela a bill of goods, the only thing I'm wondering is if Angela is buying it or not.

I guess there are three possibilities:

1. White Rose is manipulating Angela
2. Angela is on to White Rose's deception and is now playing her own games.
3. Angela and White Rose are in cahoots and we (along with Eliot) are in the dark as to what their agenda really is.

I love this show

Spoiler: show
Ya the parallel universe bit is very interesting. Everything in this show is on purpose even if we don't understand its significance for a long time.

I wonder if part of this season will be like a twin peaks S3-esque "lol elliot was in the black lodge the whole time" type of thing.

I'm excited to see how Angela being Elliot/Robot's handler will play out.

Darlene is totally working with the FBI right? I can't tell if they're making it seem that way to fuck with us or if she's actually not good at covering herself... I hope we see how she got out of custody at a flashback at some point, cause the last time we saw her she was looking at the FBI case web and going "WTF?"

Also can't wait to see what's up with Mobly and whats-her-face since Joey B found them. I hope that comes up next episode.

Yeah I thought that was odd. Maybe I’m misremembering but the way he and Darlene talked about it seemed to imply there’s something off with his memory. Like he brings up the Snowman but they never mention him being pushed out a window.

Do they talk about it when they go back to their hometown in season 1?

Yea me too. I was wondering what the illusion is this season. It might be that. I mean people on Reddit are legit doing the fucking physics of the scene we saw of that moment. And WR knew eliots dad on some level. We've been told Elliot told his mom SOMETHING. We assume it was the cancer diagnoses.

This season is so much quicker paced so far. So many intense moments.

I really hope each season doesn't have a crazy mind bending reveal. I think I liked the show more in season one, when it wasn't SOOO convoluted and mysterious. The tone was dark, but it still had a firm base. I don't like the idea that EVERYTHING is up in the air.

I 100% understand this sentiment but do not, however, feel like the show has ventured into weirdness for the sake of weirdness quite yet. Ask me again how I feel in a couple months but for now I am completely in Esmail’a capable hands and am totally cool with that.
