I always wonder about these older actors in music videos. "Hey kids, your ol' dad got called up for an audition today. Yeah, I'd be playing "Sad Father" in a music video for some band I've never heard of."

I guess Zao has a new EP coming out. Also this. Anyone from the South probably knows Revelator Coffee.

I have it and its real different from the last album. A lot more straightforward and gives me Parade of Chaos vibes but like, everyone is way better musicians now

This actually makes me more interested to hear it. Do you have an inside connection or is this thing floating around the web?

I've just become buds with the guys over the past year and Dan sent it to me, nothing cool or prestigious beyond that. The new track is actually sort of the doomy midpoint of the EP. The other stuff has that sort of rock n roll feel from POC like I mentioned. Not to say any of it is bad, but it's pretty clear why these songs didn't make the cut for Virus and the others did. Fun stuff, just not as dramatic as Virus. There is one song where Scott sort of leads it with his singing and it's really cool. Gives me Kyuss vibes.

It's weird that I've know of the band for a really long time but never checked them out until now. Will definitely be checking out the show when it rolls through here.

Just saw they are playing here in December. Stoked. Listened to the last LP they put out recently and its pretty good. Were my favorite band for the longest, but I stopped jammin em around 2004. Only saw them once with Scarlet and Remembering Never I think.

They no showed in 1999, but I did see Racetraitor and a few local bands for the first time so... Yup.

In Texas with Living Sacrifice? That would be a rad show. Wish it was a tour and not just a couple of TX dates.

Living Sacrifice isn't playing Houston. Two locals, Eyeagainst and Sleepdrone. Would be awesome to see LS. I loved Reborn in like 2000.

Listening to a playlist I made of songs from ZAO's last few sets. I don't really know the new material but I'm still fucking stoked. Bout to leave in a few hours. I just started smoking weed again yesterday too. woooooooooooo
