If anyone wants to brush up on who’s gonna be in this movie, obviously Infinity Gauntlet, but ”Infinity” from 2013 as well if you want to read up the Black Order.

Already a whoooole lot of people on my social media timeline(s) talking about how bloated it's gonna be and that there's "too many characters" and flexing their holier-than-thou movie snobbery. Like, welcome to comic books, big shit/crossovers happen people. And fuck, we've been solidly building this shit for TEN YEARS. Let us have some fucking fun.

Sorry, just extremely excited and not trying to let any folks get me down, haha.

I'm only through 6 episodes, but I'm sure this thought won't be disproven as I continue through the season - Bernthal deserves an Emmy nom.

I kinda feel like IW will be similar to the LOTR trilogy. Bunch of characters in different locations but not bloated whatsoever. Fuck em.

Ehh, I mean, honestly all the Avengers movies (including Civil War) have felt pretty bloated, so it's not a big leap to say this one will too. And honestly, I think it ultimately makes those movies a lot less fun. I’ve gotten hyped for all the Marvel team movies and always end up feeling a little let down in the end, so I’m not going to expect much different here. The stand alone films have always been better for the most part.

Damn haha Honestly the only Avengers movie that felt overstuffed to me was Ultron. I have mixed feelings about that one overall.

Really? Thought Ultron was so much better than the original. That first Avengers movie was probably my least favorite Marvel movie other than the first two Thor movies.

Ultron did not hold up well after I first watched it in a theater. It's not necessarily bad, but just so average. Spader is probably the best part imo.

I'm so happy with the tone/theme/story they decided to go with for Punisher. It reminds me of Winter Soldier; they could have had him rampaging the whole season but the bonding with Micro and his family, the heel turn in the middle of the season that bummed me out super hard, Denah being a legit great character with her own flaws....it's just completely well done and the conspiracy angle was the perfect choice. I'm up to Episode 11 and yall say the last two are the best? shiiiiit

The decision to tell Episode 10 the way they did could have been clunky and corny but they even made that work.

I don't get the hate for ultron, I still love it

I just finished punisher, I read a few pages back that there were pacing issues but I didn't feel that. Maybe it's because it's taken me 2+ weeks to finish it that I didn't get that. Maybe those of you who binge it in a weekend feel that way bc you're watching 13 hours of TV straight?

ill just tier off my marvel movies, they aren't necesarrily in any order in each specific tier, just listing them as a I remember.

S Tier - Untouchable
Winter soldier, GOTG, Ragnarok

A tier - Great Movies
Avengers, Iron man, Civil War, Homecoming, GOTG 2,

B tier - Good movies
Ultron, Thor 2, Captain America, Antman, Dr. Strange, Ironman 3

C tier - ok movies (not bad movies but not in the same as the rest of the marvel spectrum)
Ironman 2, Thor, Incredible Hulk

Hulk I guess shouldn't technically count.

comparatively to the rest of the marvel catalog how is it not? it blows away thor 1 and 2. and has its own flavor. sure you can compare it to GOTG maybe but the humor is different. the action scenes and the visuals were great. Watiti did a great job.

but like I said that's my list. I'm sure others have a different views. some would swap wear I have thor and thor 2. civil war could probably get pushed to the top tier and then drop ragnarok for it?

Also, I know the next x-men is gonna be garbage just based on the first paragraph of this article
"The film will open with the X-Men in unfamiliar territory: national heroes. In fact, Charles Xavier lands on the cover of TIME magazine, and with his newfound inflated ego he starts sending the team on more dangerous missions."

Here's the whole article
