This is actually one of my favorite hardcore albums of all time. I get ripped for saying this all the time but God Loves, Man Kills > Bloodlust Revenge. I stand by that.

But Jon Peters was singing on God Loves Man Kills.

Man, you are wrong. The last EP they did and BLR crush God Loves Man Kills, easily. Even the jawbreaker demo is better

^So fucking good. What I would have done to see that band live back in that era. Not to mention that's my all-time favorite Zao track.

used to be really into that punk band One-21. wish I could find downloads for their self titled album.
I listen to Norma Jean's Bless the Martyr Kiss the Child and Zao's Where Blood and Fire Rest occasionally. listening to Beloved right now for the first time since maybe 2004 or 2005.

This song can throw down with any metal band, Christian or not, past or present. Hell, the whole Hammering Process record slays.

Falling Cycle though... It got a little monotonous but for the most part it ripped. Good bands mentioned here, I just wanted to add this Jesus loving metalcore

Figure Four worshiped Buried Alive better than Buried Alive, so Jesus lost out on that one.

Someone once told me All Out War were a Christian band. if that's the case they are the best.

Found myself listening to the latest Zao which I though was ok. I never gave them the time of day during their era.

Shocked there were still people who didn’t know Figure Four were Christian. Played a show with them in ‘04 and it was most definitely a mega church/youth group venue that we wouldn’t have been able to play if the headliner wasn’t affiliated with ol’ JC.

as a religious teenager, it was that Tooth & Nail scene of the early / mid 00's that got me into alternative music. Mewithoutyou is still one of my favourite bands.

there's a ton of cornerstone videos on the tube from 94 on that'll give you a nostalgia boner if you're into all that. you'll hafta ff through some youth group dribble but it's cool.

Disagree with the Facedown hate. Figure Four, xDisciplex AD, Comeback Kid, No Innocent Victim, Seventh Star, Indwelling, Dogwood, Falling Cycle, Jesus Wept, One-21.
