Enjoyed 'Hush' as well.

Know it's mentioned in the horror thread but Gerald's Game on Netflix was cool. One scene was brutal. Wife said she woke up 3 times last night with just a general feeling of uneasiness.

Wrapping up 'Manhunt: Unabomber' tonight, really strong mini series, hope they continue to do new topics going forward.

Did anyone watch Lore on Amazon? I'm not a huge fan of the podcast but the TV show could be better if they did it well

Hush is good. Gerald's Game was solid but I didn't care for the ending at all.

Late on this, but I'm finishing up Ozark. Pretty much comes off like they wrote the show with a checklist of stuff they needed to include and ended up cramming way too many storylines into it. Also, the constant grimness is way over the top. Still, while I'm not going to act like it's actually a good show, it's still watchable and enjoyable which I think might solely be because of the casting of Jason Bateman.

I'm almost finished with Lady Dynamite. It was something I'd been meaning to watch for awhile, unaware that a second season was coming out in November. There are bits that don't land and ones that are really, really funny. The mom is easily the best part.

Overall an okay show. Watching the second season will be predicated on how this one ends.

The new Patton Oswalt was nice, not as funny as his last specials but considering what happened to the poor little fucker, fair enough

Trying to watch 1922, but movies & tv set in rural America that aren't westerns bore me to tears most of the time. Watched Carnivale recently and I had similar struggles.

Probably been posted, but Mindhunter is fantastic. One of the best Netflix OG series. American Vandal was great as well. The Babysitter was pretty fun, but the last 20 minutes seem to drag. Little Monsters is now on there, too.

As a massive Zodiac fan I’m loving this show. The writing, pacing, and acting are all very reminiscent of the film...and it of course has that signature Fincher treatment with the trademark camera movements and color palette.

I’m only 2 episodes in but can’t wait for more.

Agree with all of this. I thought it had that classic Fincher feel, too. I didn't even think to connect it with Zodiac, but you're totally right. The show is really engrossing, in my opinion. And the guy playing Ed Kemper steals the show every single time he's on screen.

I second Red Oaks, totally underrated show on Amazon. Lore has been ehh, it's short running time makes it tolerable, but I can't really recommend it. Wheelman, a Frank Grillo Netflix movie produced by Joe Carnahan, was released last week on there and it's pretty fucking good if you're into action movies.
