That's a banging shirt. Wish I wasn't skint. Their first album is unstoppable. Not so into the rest of their output, apart from the odd song here or there. Probably because the annoying fans gave me bad feelings to the music. Shame how that happens with good bands sometimes.

Haha would not surprise me. Been watching all his new interviews and he is pretty cool nowadays, i insist. The dude loved being in Oasis and he Seems like a pretty decent bloke

Really? I'm on to the second track .. let's see.
I heard Noel's new album trailer and I don't know ... Too much stuff going on in just 2:30 minutes. Chemical Brothers and Primal Scream vibes. Hope it's good. Both of his records are pretty great imo

Haven't heard it yet and, to be quite honest, I'm a little apprehensive. Noel's a good songwriter but he suffers from the same plight as Ryan Adams, wherein he thinks every idea he has is brilliant. There's no filter for the songs that shouldn't have even made an album.
Pitchfork gave it a 7.1 I was sure that they would slam it and I would hear it and be: these fuckers got it wrong again. Now I don't know what to think hahaha. I'll check it out later. Regardless I'm binging on YouTube seeing all the new Noel interviews. His record might not be great but his interviews always deliver... And he has stopped saying that writing happy tunes is "revolutionary" nowadays.. which I thought was nonsense. So I'm looking forward to the comedy.
I love me a good Noel interview but it's a bummer that most journalists don't do their due diligence beforehand. They ask the same fucking questions over and over and Noel has a set of go-to responses already queued up.
I can't even tell you how many interviews I've heard him tell that same story, verbatim, about his daughter not knowing what cover art is.

Yeah.. that "revolutionary" comment he made in at least 5 interviews, that's why I liked that Matt Morgan one and the pitchfork thing was funny. But normal radio shit, rarely deliver new oneliners. In South America they always ask about Argentinian football players, a bit of football but I know those answers.
About the record... Have yet to listen to the entire thing. thoughts?
Agreed. I have a friend who is big on Oasis and I told him I was digging the Liam record and he told me to listen to High Flying Birds and eh, didn't get me like this record did.
