At the Nascar race in Vegas recently, I met a bunch of Canadian motorsports fans who flew out for the weekend and they actually used "Eh" in real life. I thought it was some stereotypical bullshit for the longest time. Pretty funny.

They leave out the word "with" after saying "done." For example instead of saying "are you done with your homework?" they just say "are you done your homework?"
Still don't understand why.

I was coming out of a public bathroom the other day and walked in front of a woman who was probably seven or eight feet away (like, nowhere close to colliding with me). She quickly said "sorry" and I immediately returned the apology.

Where they from? Most places hydro = electricity. e.g. BC Hydro, Manitoba Hydro, Ontario Hydro/HydroOne. Same with power line: hydro lines, hydro wire.

It's blowing my mind that duo tang is Canadian. Same with Pencil Crayons. Also we say cheese strings instead of string cheese, and instead of always saying 9th grade, 8th grade we say grade 8, grade 9 sometimes.

When I was in Thunder Bay a lot of guys were talking about "getting right fackin' gooned, bud", so I guess "gooned" means "drunk"

In Edmonton, at a house party where we were staying, this one guy asked another if he needed a fresh beer. Dude two replied "Nah, bud....got about a half a tank left."
