I'm hopeful that the Saints or Vikings could win the super bowl.

I think any of the Saints, Vikings or Eagles have a legit shot at beating the Patriots

Case Keenum is not beating Bill Belichick with 2 weeks to prepare.

I am too much of a pessimist to get my hopes up yet. But 10 wins so far feels good.

I could see the Saints because their D has been on fire the last 8 weeks and it'd be a perfect ending to Brees career, but I wouldn't be confident about Case Keenum or Wentz in his 2nd year.

I know it's easy to hate Tomlin but he always comes out and talks like a human after these Steelers/Bengals games and takes responsibility if his players do something shitty. Meanwhile Marvin Lewis just plays dumb and acts like everything is normal.

If Bengals fans can find any solace in this game, it's probably the beginning of the end for Marvin Lewis.

Peters suspended for a game because that's obviously the same as intentionally attempting to hurt someone. League is a joke.

This is actually a smart suspension. Otherwise it could lead to more players throwing flags into the stands on things like DPI. If you get called on pass interference on the endzone and you throw the flag in the stands they can't even penalize it. What else can they do, give the other team an extra inch?

He should've been ejected immediately like he thought was going to happen all along.

edit: Whoops looks like Reid suspended him, not the league. Shades of McAdoo.

race for 1st pick could be interesting. i can see Cleveland and san fran winning this week. also hopefully Trubisky can have a Goff like bounce back next year once they fire Jeff Fisher 2.0. I cant remember a team trying not to score more than chicago this year

And fired their GM today.

IMPOSSIBLY stupid. Sashi Brown has had two drafts, and not only is it way too early to take full-scale stock of those two drafts, but some of the players have been pretty good! Corey Coleman and Emmanuel Ogbah have made plenty of good contributions, Nassib is fine, Garrett has been good when healthy.

I mean, what the hell was expected in less than two full seasons? They don't have anything that could be construed as a starting-level QB. If you wanna kill him for stockpiling picks instead of pulling the trigger on Wentz or Watson, okay, that's valid, but I can't see anything else he's done wrong.

Didnt he WANT to take Watson and ownership overruled or was it that their coach wanted Watson and he overruled?

Yup. Did a great job acquiring all those picks. This was the first year they went hard spending them. Could have 2 top 5 picks this coming year. Cleveland could've really started to be something in 2 years but expecting rookies to turn it around this year is insane. I'm sure they will hire the most old school guy they can find and go back to sucking with no future. That terrible trade for mccarren is a good picture of what's to come

FO overruled jackson on watson allegedly.

browns fan narrative is "good riddance" for picking poor players to put on the field. people are not keen with coleman/britt/kessler/hogan/lewis and some others. kessler was a jackson pick and so was his idea of griffin. njoku is getting a bit reminiscent of massaquoi with the drops apparently (and if you remember, i loved me some mo ma). coleman being a lazy ass with 40000 bags of weed (gordon) back. also dont get browns fan/local media started on britt. and a DC who acts like a shitty know it all uncle who gets lit up on the pass. the franchise has future picks and 100m in cap room, but can you trust someone like brown to do the right moves with the 2 awful trade downs in the last 2 drafts? no. further feeds the image of haslam being impatient and cycling people every 2 years and the whole analytics approach not working.

personally.....who cares. everyone is invested into the cavs and indians and im more into the indians out of the 4 teams here. ive got other things going on to be interested in than a league that cant get anything right.

Ravens at Steelers: Look man, at least half of all the NFL’s problems could be solved merely by deleting the AFC North. The Bengals are the dirtiest team in football (seeing them playing in their stadium on TV is somehow a depressing sight in and of itself). The Steelers are even dirtier but pretend they aren’t. The Ravens are scum. And the New Browns never should have existed to begin with. Tell me you’d miss the AFC North if we got rid of it. YOU CANNOT. Contract those four, hold a dispersal draft in which every team but the Patriots gets a few picks, and BOOM! Suddenly the NFL is hot shit again.

Where's the lie.
