What you need is about 3 more tds before the commitee even considers putting you in the final 4.

Clemson looks scary.

OSU just made it pretty easy for the committee.

1. Clemson
2. OU
3. Georgia
4. Bama

Everybody knows Bama is at worst the second best team in the country, but no way you can justify putting them ahead of their conference champion or a 1 loss OU team that dominated their conference championship game.

It would be cool if Ohio State went to the playoffs instead of Bama though.

Willie Taggart goes 7-5 with Oregon and that gets him connected to the Florida State job?

not surprised, but ohio state > alabama, with ohio state having beat wisconsin & penn state vs alabama having beat miss state & lsu.

they win at least 2 more games if starting qb justin herbert wasn't out for 5 weeks.

hopefully another 3rd string linemen gets ko'd in their bowl vs boise.

(t)osu got blown out by a shitty iowa, bama lost a good auburn. Wisconson was a paper tiger with like the 65th tough schedule, penn couldn't beat sparty. Bama also broke FSU before they could even get started.

I'm never against using "who would you pick if they played" as a tiebreaker, which I figure most people would have picked Alabama.

most of that is fair, but did you really just use a win over fsu as ammunition?

fsu was #3 in the polls before the start of the season and on paper looked good. Nobody knows how that would have played out, but it probably would have gone significantly better if Francois wasn't killed on a bama sack.

Truthfully, i don't think it matters who plays Clemson between bama or osu. Both will most likely lose to clemson. Bama is probably the tougher opponent, and face it..a sexier sell.

Pretty excited about UW's matchup with PSU. #1 RB in the country facing the #1 rushing defense.

Bama is great and always deserves to play for a national championship until proven otherwise

The Iowa game is on coaching staff. They let it snowball instead of trying to to make it look respectable. Beating penn st, Michigan and winning b1g is a good enough year for me as a fan. Hope Ohio state beats usc so bad darnold stays in school and is saved from Cleveland.

Taggart is a phenomenal recruiter who grew up in FL and has helped turn two programs around (Western Kentucky and USF) and left them in far better positions than when he got there. A bit of a gamble in some ways, but he will also be a huge PR boost for the university. Having someone who is good with the media will be a nice change of pace from Jimbo’s fast-talking Saban impression.

I don't think it's the worst move, but he just had an eh record in an eh conference with a decent amount of talent. Now he's moving to a state where he has experience, but he doesn't exactly have a sexy program.

I wonder if Taylor has enough tables in his house to flip when Lamar Jackson steals Mayfield's heisman...
