if you had your magic high in Oblivion it was so overpowered. i'm hoping it's pretty much the same in this. my mage had this huge cloud spell that took up the entire screen and killed everyone that touched it. all the time bandits would chase me and i'd cast it and kill like 3 or 4 things in the background i didn't even see.

Elder scrolls I had a sneaky Imperial that I went around killing everything with a bow and arrow. This time I'm thinking about making a super strong warrior type class that just rapes people with axes.

i think i played through oblivion 100+ hours 3 times, i only used to bow and daggers. theres nothing better than sneaking and hitting something with a bow and watching the body crumble.

A premium map, not sure what it's made of, but I know for a fact it's not cloth.

Edit: The 150 version comes with an artbook, not a guide.

That's what all the stores said, but there was a post by Bethesda that said it wasn't cloth and that retailers were mistaken.

Update: We’ve received plenty of questions about the map. So you know, it’s a high-grade material that has a feel similar to burlap, and will be available in North America and European territories. There will be a regular paper map included in all copies of the game, but if you want to get the premium map, we recommend pre-ordering the game.

So that's from Bethesda themselves, and now I'm confused as to what it's gonna be like.

The only thing that confused me when I started playing these games was the magic and spells type shit. That stuff still seems to me like its for more advanced players, so I'd probably just stick to the simple shit first. Other than that, its pretty easy to get the hang of. Id recommend a melee/strength based character for your first playthrough though.
