Probably gonna cop- I think it will look decent enough with good denim and either Air Max or Clarks.

It's a toss up between that and the army green half zip they have up.

These are even better in person:

Yeah what the fuck? Self Edge is top 3 stores in the country IMO. It's also worth going to the Tanner Goods flagship store - they carry a lot of collaborations with different brands. I don't live there, just am back and forth often, but I would say store-wise, Portland beats out Boulder/Denver sans a few.

It's not super hip, but the Portland Outdoor Store is pretty cool too. They carry a lot of Barbour, Pendleton, Filson, etc.

Anyone gotten any Karhu shoes? They look really, really gorgeous, I'm just hoping the quality is there for the price tag.

Used saddle soap on my Chippewa/ll bean engineer boots two days ago and oiled them last night, they look fucking amazing. I do need to rewax my laces are they are the original pair from 2+ years ago.

I dig it, but like your whole aesthetic has to be tailored around that kinda. I want a pair of similar sneaks that I could integrate into normal looks but then I see YUNG HYPEBEASTS on insta or around town and think to myself this is the new scene kid

I just typed in Balenciaga and my computer charged me $150. Then my shoes morphed into some kind of Skechers/compression sock combo.

So I just got this suit, it's linen. I am going to a wedding tomorrow, in late October, but it's expected to be about 90 degrees and it's an outdoor wedding at 4:30pm. What are everyone's thoughts on wearing a linen suit to a fall wedding when it's going to be hot as shit? I'm leaning towards going for it, because my other option is a Navy wool jacket with chinos, and I just think it's going to be too hot for that. The attire for the wedding is pretty casual, so I don't need to wear a suit, or even a tie or jacket, but I want to dress up.

Basically I want something that isn't too loose, nor too slim. Selvedge is preferable as is a button fly.
Budget - at the most £200 but preferably less than £150.
Orslow was recommended to me in Oi Polloi but the cost is putting me off.

Met a Levi’s rep this week, if they have my size they’re going to send me a pair. Usually it’s made in Japan or bust for me.

SF is probably the best shop we have, but the one here is mad tiny. Tanner is alright. I worked there for a year. Sadly they've never had a good buyer, just like Frances May.

Portland Outdoor Store is tight.

best bang for your buck is gonna be a pair of sugar canes. they make levi’s repro specs/fits with a little bit of a japanese influence and they use more interesting denim fabrics. the SC 1947 is a more true version of LVCs 1947 501 in terms of the cut. all their other jeans are pretty close in terms of fit to that particular model as well. and you can typically get them proxied from japan through rakuten for like 150 bucks. after spending too much money trying to find the perfect jeans i really think these are them.

The best brand. My 1001xx were my first Japanese pair, and my current 1002 (Lee repros) are probably my all time favorite.

Trying to score a pair of black boots this season. Just missed out on a pair of Chippewa Service boots on eBay for $100. Clean and resoled.

Hopefully they get relisted, as no one bid on them.

If there is anything I can help any of you guys with in terms of sizing of brands - RRL, Engineered Garments, Kapital, Remy Relief, Iron Heart, Truman, Red Wing, etc. let me know. The store I work at also has some really special LVC pieces coming through... really special and unique. Happy to help y'all

they seem to get great reviews, but I had one shirt tear at the seam on the forearm from minimal wear (obviously a production issue), and had another that fit super awkward/boxy. then tried ordering a shirt where a couple of the chest buttons would slip through the button hole constantly, undoing the shirt...sent it back as defective and the replacement did the same thing.

so I don't bother with them any more
