I mean the score is nil-nil but Liverpool playing Maribor is a glorified training session.

I can't believe I'm using my early day at work on this.

Great call by the ref not getting sucked in by that Alli dive. And a great play on the ball to help the ref walk away after the tackle.

Wrong Yakubu mate. This was Abubakari Yakubu not Yakubu Aiyegbeni. Still sad especially at only 36 years old.

Yeaaahhhh Moyes isn’t the guy to save West Ham from relegation and drive them back up the table. Every game will be hoofing it up to Carroll and hoping Hernandez will get lucky with the chaos it causes.

I still think Brendan Rodgers would leave Celtic if the money was good. Dominating every team in Scotland (63? domestic games unbeaten) is an ego boost but they may never be able to compete with teams in the Champions League or even Europa league again.

Personally if I were Rodgers I'd rather be a big fish in a small pond waiting for a job on the continent than grinding away hopelessly at West Ham. Anyone south of top ~8 is a garbage team on borrowed time waiting for relegation. Even 7-8 are just waiting for Arsene to truly fuck it up so they can go to Europe, which is hardly a prize.

Farhad Moshiri sold his Arsenal stake in 2016 to buy nearly 50% of Everton.

But the leaks suggest his original Arsenal stake was funded by a "gift" from oligarch Alisher Usmanov, who owns 30.4% of Arsenal, raising the question of whether his money is now in Everton.

At this point, it seems there's a pretty good chance Nashville will receive one of the two expansion teams that will be officially announced in mid December.

Maybe Italy will actually start bringing their best players, not just their best players who play in Serie A.

Also, way to fuck up Buffon's last run.

Yeah. I mean I love Buffon, but he's won a WC. I was more excited to see Belotti and guys like that, but Italy are always so conservative at tournaments and their fans are annoying. A potential WC with no Italy, Ireland or USMNT has its positives.

If they hold it somewhere in an opposite time zone it'll probably work. Since that world cup fever takes people over and they eat up the sport.

they'd probably put it in june before the world cup, not directly against it and countries would decide on participating based purely on how much money was offered.
