follow suburban fight on twitter or if they have a fb they usually have a show like every week (most of the time in the oc tho)
or just ask jared from subway

I usually hear about shows through events posted on FB most of the time.

Oh shit, how often does this happen? I'm coming over from Australia in March and I run a craft beer tour business here, would be so keen!

Only ran that one time, but hit me up when you get to LA! I work in the beer industry, and LA is awesome right now for breweries and tap rooms. Would love to grab a beer and take the booze cruise down one of the metro lines.

If you want a list of breweries to stop by, just hit me up!

Any good places to watch the fight tomorrow? If the neighborhood guys don't set up the projecter, I'm thinking this shitty place biergarden next to my apartment or the cheapest option, big wangs.

Interested in finding some breweries to take my lady to, as long as they've got some food I can snack on, since I don't drink. Would be stoked on some recommendations from someone in the know. She prefers darker beers, no idea if that helps in any way.

Angel city brewery and arts district brewery are next to each other and both have good food inside and in the parking lot.

I'm coming over to LA from Australia for my birthday in March, will go back through this thread so as not to punish everyone with the same old questions BUT I am so excited, I've always wanted to visit LA since I was a little kid!
Won't be doing Disneyland as I'm coming back with my family in 2019 for that, but could be keen on Universal Studios which is probably as 'touristy' as I'll get.
I'm down to go and check out some iconic movie locations and other random movie/LA spots like the diner from Pulp Fiction, school from Encino Man, Terminator 2 spillway etc as well as looking forward to checking out Tarantino's Beverly Theater.

Top of the list for me is a drink at The Rainbow, hanging with some friends in Venice and Santa Monica but besides that I'll be there for over a week and would be keen to meet up with like-minded peeps for a drink/feed/hang etc

I'm a 35 year old hardcore/punk rock/metal dude, huge glam and rock fan (hence The Rainbow), sports guy, gym guy, beer guy, hiking dude. Overall I'd say I'm pretty rad and you should be my friend and show me your town.

Hit up @graceoftheunholy on the gram if you wanna connect.

Peace.

I wanted to go to that, but I already bought tickets for a couple of the screenings (Brawl in Cell Block 99, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, and Predator/The Running Man double feature with Arnold in attendance) I might still buy a ticket for the Suspira showing that didn't sell out yet or The Room/Best F(r)lends double feature with Tommy Wiseau in attendance.

What're good sites to check not so mainstream things to do around the city? Ive got a pretty good idea of what I'm gonna be doing. Just made a spur the moment flight purchase and will be in la(echo park) sept 20-25....with access to a car and a bike. I know this thread gets bumped alot so I apologize. I've read through alot of the thread for ideas. Just thought id ask for anything new or happenings

depends on the time of day you will be going. if you are going in the direction of rush hour, which is from 2:30pm to 7:30pm, then you can expect to shave off only about 10 minutes from your commute. luckily the tolls going eastbound aren't as expensive. you can expect to sit in traffic from the 605 to west covina after the express lanes end. heavy traffic, every day, any time of day.

if you use the tolls during morning traffic going westbound, it's not worth it and it's ridiculously expensive.
