Bruce Roehrs 1950-2010

Maximum RockNRoll Columnist and avid music enthusiast, Bruce Roehrs passed away yesterday in his home. The San Francisco native was best known for his passion for music, and above all else, loving life. MRR will be announcing details regarding Bruce's memorial in the coming days. An infamous past editor and creator of Maximum Rocknroll, Mr. Tim Yohannan was unable to get past his narrow-minded hatred of everything related to skinheads--he was unable to appreciate what a landmark record this was. You slam through "Remind Them" and get to "Blind Justice." Brilliant! "Blind Justice" has one of the best breakdowns ever committed to hardcore vinyl. You surge through "Last Warning" and get to "United And Strong" --a magnificent treatise on human relations in the hardcore and skinhead world! Wow! I never would of thought someone from Maximum Rock N Roll would write something good about Agnostic Front or the NYHC scene for that matter.
